  • Tooth Decay

    Tooth Decay

Tooth decay (also called dental caries) is one of the most common dental problems we see at Epsom Smiles. It develops when bacteria in your mouth produce acids that erode the protective enamel of your teeth — left untreated, decay progresses inward and can lead to pain, infection and tooth loss.

Early-stage decay is often reversible with prevention; deeper decay requires restoration. The earlier it’s caught, the simpler the treatment.

  • Toothache

    Toothache

Toothache can range from a mild dull ache to a sharp, throbbing pain that stops you sleeping. Either way, it’s your body telling you something’s wrong — and the longer you ignore it, the worse it usually gets.

  • Sensitive Teeth

    Sensitive Teeth

Tooth sensitivity is a sharp, short pain in response to hot, cold, sweet or acidic stimuli — caused by worn enamel, receding gums or exposed root surfaces. It’s common but very treatable.
